In this week’s episode of Deep Leadership Podcast, I was joined by Scott Papek, a mindset coach and lifelong learner. Scott spent 20 years in the music business as an audio editor, directing and shaping stories from elite on-air talent and bands that have sold millions of records. This experience sparked his lifelong quest to understand other people’s journeys in all sectors of life. Today, Scott serves as a mindset coach, helping individuals discover their purpose, train their mindset to authentically live it, and communicate it to the world. He is the managing partner at Max Out Mindset and the author of “Age Is Your Edge, How to Find Fulfillment and Purpose in Midlife“. In this episode, Scott and I talked about living your purpose in the second half of life and the importance of showing up every day. We discussed what mindset coaching is, falling in love with your purpose, and Scott’s book “Age Is Your Edge”. We also touched upon midlife challenges, creativity, self-discovery, and why high-performers struggle when they leave their craft. To wrap up, we talked about the importance of embracing your age and using it as your edge. Listen to the full episode and subscribe to the Deep Leadership Podcast to never miss an episode.
