Today I’m joined by Dr. Amer Kaissi. Amer is an award-winning Professor of Healthcare Administration at Trinity University. He is also an author, a professional speaker, and a certified executive coach. In his most recent book Humbitious: the power of low-ego, high-drive leadership, Amer explores the role of ego in leadership. He’s found that the most effective, high-performing leaders combine deep, realistic humility with ambition and drive. As it turns out, the arrogant, over-confident stereotypical boss isn’t that effective in getting things done. This was an eye-opening discussion that I know you’re going to love.
