This is the week my new book comes out. It’s called All in the Same Boat – Lead Your Organization Like a Nuclear Submariner and pre-orders open on March 15th. I spent more than two years writing this book which contains stories of my time serving in the Navy as a submarine officer and how those experiences helped my lead 9 different manufacturing businesses throughout my career. I guarantee this will be the most interesting leadership book you will read in 2021. In this episode, I talk about the origins of one of the stories in my new book and then I will share a that part of the chapter. It’s about my first deployment on the USS Tennessee in a North Atlantic winter storm and how that experience helped me understand my WWII Navy veteran grandfather better.
